his blood was shed among the wrath
He suffered and cried, the sorrow began
forgiveness and salvation was the plan
Each day he walked upon this earth
He gave us life that began at birth
He pulled the cross with every step
He walked to death with no regret
His crucifixion will still remain
A life in ours without the shame
When darkness begins to fill the land
His life in ours begins to stand
Voices cried out for all to hear
He has risen, do not fear.
In the deepest depths of all the pain
When confusion and doubt still remain
Just remember the day has come
When God gave us his only son.
