A football family is at the heart you see
A football of friendship passed between you and me.
Offence or defense, it doesn’t matter what part
A football family resides deep in the heart.
Sitting together, we gather each game,
Shouting and screaming each Cardinal by name.
“Go Cardinals, Go Cardinals”, we sing from the stands
Stomping our feet and clapping our hands.
Rejoicing together or blowing off steam,
Are boys make us proud, as we’re part of the team.
Blocking and passing Cardinals do it so well,
Watching each player, hearts are beginning to swell
“Go Cardinals, Go Cardinals”, families say it with pride,
holding back nothing and letting it ride.
Win or lose we are all a part,
Of a Colerain football family that came from the heart!
