love swings

Sometimes my heart swings so deep into the darkness I can’t seem to escape the sway.

The darkness feels so heavy, yet the love stands behind me and pushes my life forward

lifts me forward into life.

Back and forth my heart swings from missing you to loving him.

How can a heart love this way? Sworn to love until death do us part.

You departed and love finds its way again.

With each sway of life’s swing the further away you feel and the closer he becomes. Did you send

love my way?

At times I feel as if I am swinging in the dark wishing I could glide into the clouds where I know you are.

Then love swings in and pushes me forward.  Out of the darkness into life.  Sending me further and higher into our life.

Back and forth the love swing will go.
