Prayers for Colorado
Now I lay me down to sleep.
I fold my hands and begin to weep.
My heart grows heavy as I begin to pray,
for all those who lost their lives today.
How can such evil exist on earth,
when you my God created birth.
It doesn’t matter what race we are,
evil can touch us near and far.
God, please help us all to understand
that LOVE can overcome the evil man.
Walk with each person as they heal and morn,
For their hearts today will be forever torn.
Through all the prayers you will hear tonight,
God, LOVE them all and hold them tight!
