28 Colors was created through a meditative, intuitive process — built dot by dot, layer by layer, allowing variation, spacing, and rhythm to guide the composition.

Painted with acrylic on natural, unbleached cotton duck canvas, the surface was titanium acrylic gesso primed for durability and archival quality. The canvas and spruce wood stretcher bars provide strength and depth while supporting the dimensional, tactile nature of the work.

What You’ll See

Twenty-eight distinct colors move across the canvas in clustered waves, shifting gradually through greens, warm earth tones, vibrant pinks, purples, blues, and deeper grounding shades. The transitions feel organic rather than linear — suggesting moments of gathering, overlap, and divergence.

Vertical movement beneath the dot layers adds structure and flow, creating a quiet foundation beneath the color and motion. Subtle variations in scale and spacing invite the eye to wander, pause, and return.
